Journal submission challenges: mentoring and training students in open journal system scientific paper publication

Students encounter the most significant difficulty converting their theses or final projects into articles. Not all pupils can promptly express their ideas in scientific publications. The current predicament about human resources is their insistence on writing instruction. Their enduring reliance on memorization since early infancy presents an opportunity for development in their writing culture. Generating articles necessitates regular practice, focused attention, and unwavering resolve. Students are, therefore, obligated to convert their theses into publications of a scholarly nature. Furthermore, student assistance is necessary to administer theses and scientific publications submitted to and published in scientific journals or online platforms. The service aims to recognize the difficulties that students encounter when attempting to submit papers to journals and to assist them in improving their competence in submitting scientific publications to the open journal system. The service implementation process comprises four discrete phases: preparation, implementation, analysis, and evaluation. Based on the investigation results, it was discerned that participants encountered difficulties in various aspects, including composing metadata titles and submitting articles to journals. Furthermore, students are highly motivated and enthusiastic about participating in the training because they recognize that the knowledge gained will aid them in effectively completing their coursework, which may result in submitting assignments, final reports, theses, or publications in academic journals.
